      It's simple and risk free!  I work from photos, eliminating the need for repeated and lengthy sittings. Of course, all my portraits are painted totally freehand; photos are used only for reference.  For over 25 years I have worked to establish a superb record of pleasing my clients.  I guarantee your complete satisfaction.  I will adjust the painting to please your taste until you are absolutely thrilled with your heirloom.

I've had the privilege of painting hundreds of commissioned portraits for some wonderful people over the years.  I would love to create an heirloom for you, too!  Since I actually prefer to work from photographs, it's easy to surprise a family member, remember a departed loved one, or paint your dream portrait by working from multiple photos...and all without you even having to travel to my studio!

1) Contact me by phone or email to set up a session to be photographed.  After talking with you about your preferences, I will draw several preliminary sketches, offering you a variety of options to suit your taste, decor, and budget.  After you choose a size and pose, I'll give you a quote and estimated date of completion.

2) When your portrait nears completion, I'll contact you to come view it (if you live nearby), or I'll send you a digital photo of the painting (if you live far away).  At this time, you will give your final approval or request desired adjustments.

3) Upon completion, your portrait may be picked up, or shipped at your expense and according to your instructions.  Unless other arrangements have been agreed upon, full payment will be expected before the painting leaves the studio.

Head & Shoulders: blurred background; no hands.
